  1. At TrantoTransport, our rental rates are structured to suit your needs — whether you’re booking daily, weekly, or monthly. Each rental comes with a 1-hour grace period after the scheduled return time.
  2. Should you exceed that window, additional hours are charged at 10% of the daily rate per hour. Rentals exceeding 6 hours past the return time will be charged as an additional full day. Please note that all rental rates are subject to change without prior notice.
  3. Your rental includes basic insurance coverage, which provides full indemnity for accidental damage involving third-party property or bodily injury. However, as the hirer, you are still liable for an excess fee, based on the engine capacity of the vehicle:

  1. The hirer is responsible for damage resulting from illegal activities, negligence, careless actions, tyre punctures, burst tyres, fuel errors, battery drainage due to forgotten electrical devices, loss or damage to vehicle accessories, and damage to windows, mirrors, or the undercarriage.
  2. If the accident or damage to the vehicle is caused by a third-party vehicle, the hirer must collect all third-party details such as the vehicle registration number, driver’s name, and driving license number. If claims cannot be made against the third party’s insurance, all damage will be borne by the hirer, subject to the excess clause mentioned in point number 3.
  3. The hirer is required to inform our company and lodge a police report within 24 hours from the time of the accident or from the moment the theft or loss is discovered. A written police report must be obtained and submitted.

Can I make a deposit payment before confirming my booking?

Yes, you can make an advance payment for the deposit to secure your car rental booking. For urgent bookings, kindly WhatsApp or call us directly for faster confirmation.

Unfortunately, all deposits are non-refundable. We recommend confirming your travel plans before placing a booking to avoid any inconvenience.

All our rental vehicles are covered under a standard commercial motor vehicle insurance scheme, as per the Road Transport Act 1987. Regardless of the cause or severity of the damage (whether due to hirer or third-party fault), the hirer is only liable for the excess amount, based on engine capacity:

At TrantoTransport, every car rental includes basic insurance protection, which provides limited coverage for specific incidents. ❌ What Basic Insurance Does Not Cover:

  • Sleep driving (driving while drowsy or asleep)

  • Accidents caused by alcohol, drugs, or illegal activities

  • All parking tickets or traffic summons during the rental period (these are fully the customer’s responsibility)

  • Unauthorized outstation travel — trips beyond Kuching city, such as to Sri Aman, Betong, or Sibu, require prior permission from TrantoTransport. Additional charges may apply.

  • Fines due to accidents where the hirer is at fault or did not follow rental conditions

Yes, a security deposit of RM100 is required for each car rental. This deposit will be collected during vehicle handover and will be refunded immediately upon returning the vehicle in good condition.

Yes, you may change your rental date by notifying us at least 7 days in advance. Please note that last-minute changes are not allowed and no refunds will be given for late requests.

After confirming your booking, we will contact you directly. Please ensure all booking details (name, phone number, and email) are accurate. The car will typically be delivered to your selected location, such as hotels, airports, or other designated points.

Our rental rates are based on a 24-hour daily cycle. If your rental duration exceeds 6 hours, it will be considered a full-day rental and charged accordingly.
